The institute is a non-profit non-partisan social research institute that aims to deliver high quality research on areas that matter to the society of Somaliland. This research institute which is the first of its kind aims to became the leading research institute in Somaliland. The institute’s main objectives is to fill the gap in literature in the Horn of Africa, and especially Somaliland by:
a) Producing high quality research in socially important areas.
b) Training researchers in the field of research
ARDAA with its core objectives contributes to overcoming challenging issues in Somaliland. It plays a significant role in policy recommendations, and public debates.
